On all booked trips, the ANVR Traveller Terms (available here) apply in addition to our own terms below. The terms and conditions of Alvin African Safaris prevail in all situations unless otherwise specified.
This 4-day wilderness safari with Alvin African Safaris takes you deep into the legendary Northern Safari Circuit — a perfect blend of adventure, comfort, and iconic wildlife. You’ll travel across breathtaking landscapes: witness elephants grazing beneath ancient baobab trees in Tarangire National Park, explore the wildlife-rich floor of the Ngorongoro Crater, and marvel at the pink-hued shores of Lake Manyara, home to tree-climbing lions and flocks of flamingos.
Designed with midrange accommodations in mind (but fully customizable), this safari brings you close to Tanzania’s best — guided by locals who make sure every moment counts.
Alvin African Safaris is a registered Tanzania-based tour operator. The following terms (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Alvin African Safaris (“we,” “us,” “our”) to you, our client (“client,” “traveler,” “you”).
We protect your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting on our website. For existing bookings, we will notify you of significant changes by email.
All content on our website—including text, logos, and images is our property and protected by copyright. You may not reuse, modify, or distribute it without our prior written consent.
All prices on our website are per person (unless stated) in USD or EUR and are for guidance only. Final pricing is confirmed in your quotation.
Prices may be subject to surcharges due to increases in government fees, park taxes, fuel, airfares, or exchange rates up to 20 days before departure.
If a surcharge exceeds 10% of your total cost, you may cancel and receive a full refund.
5.1 Booking Confirmation
After you accept a proposal, we will send a confirmation invoice. Your booking is secured once the required deposit is paid.
5.2 Payment
A 50% deposit is due within 10 days of invoice receipt.
Full payment is required 61 days before departure, or immediately for bookings made within 61 days of travel.
Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation without refund.
5.3 Cancellations
By the Client:
61+ days before departure: Deposit is non-refundable.
0–61 days before departure: 100% of total cost is charged.
By Alvin African Safaris:
We reserve the right to cancel a trip due to insufficient participants, force majeure, non-payment, or traveler misconduct. If we cancel for reasons within our control, you will receive a full refund.

Minor corrections (e.g., name spelling) within 10 days of booking are free; later changes incur a fee.
Changes to itinerary, date, or traveler 61+ days before departure are subject to availability and administrative fees.
Changes within 61 days of departure are treated as cancellations.
6.2 By Alvin African Safaris
We reserve the right to make minor changes. For major changes that reduce the quality of your trip, we will offer alternatives, a price reduction, or a full refund.
Group tours require a minimum number of participants. If minimum numbers are not met 20 days before departure, we may cancel and offer a full refund or alternative safari.
You must obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, evacuation, trip cancellation, and loss of personal items.
Inform us of any medical conditions or disabilities before booking. We reserve the right to decline a booking if we cannot safely accommodate your needs.
You are responsible for ensuring you have a valid passport, required visas, and vaccination certificates for your itinerary.
Safari travel involves inherent risks including wildlife encounters, rough terrain, and varying health and safety standards.
Our liability for damages is limited to three times the trip cost, except where prohibited by law.
We are not liable for events outside our reasonable control, including actions of third-party suppliers.
Please report any issues immediately to your guide or lodge manager, and contact us. If a complaint is not resolved locally, notify us in writing within 28 days of returning home.
We are not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including war, natural disasters, epidemics, government actions, or transport failures.
These Terms are governed by Tanzanian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Tanzanian courts.
