Full Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha — Your Tanzanian Welcome

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, a warm welcome awaits from your Alvin African Safaris driver-guide. Depending on your arrival time, settle into your lodge and take the rest of the day to relax and get ready for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park — Land of Giants

After breakfast, begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, famous for its towering baobab trees and vast herds of elephants. This park offers incredible wildlife viewing, with lions, giraffes, zebras, hartebeests, leopards, and an astonishing variety of birdlife.

Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch inside the park, followed by an afternoon of game viewing. Later, head to your lodge near Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti — Wildlife Wonders

After breakfast, drive into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend 600 meters to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the eighth wonder of the world. Here, you’ll encounter an incredible array of wildlife, from wildebeest and zebras to elephants, lions, and possibly the endangered black rhino.

After a picnic lunch by a hippo pool, continue across the highlands to the legendary Serengeti National Park, where you’ll arrive in time for a sunset game drive.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park — Nature’s Greatest Stage

After an exciting game drive and lunch, begin your journey back to your lodge near Ngorongoro, keeping an eye out for more wildlife along the way.

Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park — Safari Finale

After a final game drive and picnic lunch, return to Arusha for your onward travel or departure flight—leaving with memories that will last a lifetime.
