Full Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha — Your Adventure Begins

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you’ll be greeted by your Alvin African Safaris guide and transferred to your lodge. Take time to relax and prepare for the exciting days ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park — Elephant Encounters

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant populations, ancient baobab trees, and open savannah landscapes. Enjoy a full game drive with opportunities to see lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and diverse birdlife. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park. In the late afternoon, continue to your lodge near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward Serengeti National Park. Enjoy scenic views of the highlands before entering the vast plains of the Serengeti. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed en route, followed by an afternoon game drive upon arrival.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park — Full-Day Exploration

Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti’s incredible landscapes, where each game drive brings new discoveries. From herds of wildebeest and buffalo to crocodiles, hippos, and top predators like lions and cheetahs, every corner of the park offers a wildlife spectacle.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park — Another Day in Paradise

Enjoy another full day in the Serengeti, giving you the chance to venture further afield or revisit favorite spots. Whether you choose an early morning and late afternoon game drive with a midday break, or a full-day safari with a packed picnic, the magic of the Serengeti keeps unfolding.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater — Wildlife & Wonders

Savor a final Serengeti sunrise before heading toward the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend 600 meters into this incredible natural amphitheater, home to a dense concentration of wildlife including elephants, wildebeest, zebras, lions, and the elusive black rhino.

After your crater game drive and picnic lunch, return to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha — Safari Finale

On your final day, visit Lake Manyara National Park, a compact park rich in wildlife and landscapes. From thick forests and open plains to the shimmering lake itself, you’ll spot flamingos, elephants, baboons, and maybe even the famous tree-climbing lions.

After a final picnic lunch and game drive, return to Arusha or transfer to the airport, wrapping up your unforgettable safari adventure.
